Our Story
Bruce and Mark are two friends living near the quiet edge of Pickwick Lake, Tennessee, surrounded by tall pines, open water, and the steady rhythms of nature. Pinewick Candles began not as a business plan, but as a simple way to slow down melting wax, blending scents, and letting evenings unfold by firelight.
What started as a grounding ritual grew into a small-batch candle company rooted in craftsmanship, restraint, and atmosphere. Their scents lean into what feels warm and familiar—firewood, leather, tobacco, and spice balanced by softer notes that bring ease.
Each Pinewick candle is hand-poured using a soy-beeswax blend and finished with a natural wood wick for a clean burn and gentle crackle. Everything is made in small batches with care, focusing on how a candle feels in a space as much as how it smells.
